Chyvonne is a Canadian acrylic artist that loves to switch her style up between portraits, pop art and psychedelic art. Inspired by music, emotion, and life events she paints the mood she’s feeling.
Chyvonne Archer is an established local Toronto artist with a love for creating various art. She studied Art and Design at Georgian College, she followed her heart and got into the makeup industry. For over 10 years she worked in beauty with top retailers like Sephora and Mac Cosmetics and continues to do freelance bridal and photoshoot makeup. There was something missing in her life after leaving the makeup world

She decided to pick up painting again and found naturally she had developed some new talent after years in makeup. Chyvonne’s art reflects her personal thoughts, mood, and experiences. In a backwards way she is able to pinpoint different moments in her life from her paintings. Chyvonne doesn’t focus on one style, she always is testing new waters and trying out different styles. She has been known to play around in abstract, landscape, realism and even pottery. There is no saying what is in store for this artist.

When something in life is inspiring, emotional or exciting its likely going to get incorporated into my art. This can be reflected as extreme detail, bright colours, black and white, speed painting etc. I am very obsessed with music of all genres, the vibe of the music very much reflects the outcome of my art. Constantly I am in my head wanting to paint over my work because is can be too impatient. Painting is a way I cancel out my thoughts, express myself and gives me a sense of accomplishment. Since a child creating is something I always get drawn back to. Challenging myself in art is something I absolutely love to do.
